A LITTLE ABOUT US

We founded HomeSquare because we were dissatisfied with the home maintenance experience. We noticed a vacancy of dependable and experienced craftsman within this micro-space and decided to fill it. As a retired engineer whose priority was to cut costs year after year and still make a profit for the company he worked for, our founder, Dennis L. Martin, set the company on a course with one simple statement:

"It's 2022- is it really necessary to trade voicemails with guys in pick-up trucks that you don't know?"

We are setting out to change the Handyman business as an industry.
In today's fast-paced world where time itself is the most valuable commodity, the contractors and the homeowners are competing for the same all-mighty dollar.
Unfortunately for the homeowner, their hour includes 60 minutes of their life, dedicated to earning the money that they seek to trade with the contractor for their hour of service. But the contractor's hour inherently has a built-in service fee, employee breaks, trip charges for materials as well as a profit margin embedded into it. Their hour is substantially more expensive than the cost of the homeowners in most cases.
